A Forest House Lodge wedding is always a spectacular affair. They are known for their immaculate ceremony location at Grand Sierra Point (which is incredible). But they are so much more than that. It is rare that couples and their guests rave more about a venue than Forest House Lodge in Foresthill CA. The lodge itself offers a bridal salon, man cave, game room, banquet room and décor room. One of the reasons our couples cite for choosing Forest House Lodge is the convenience.

A wedding at Forest House Lodge allows for a whole weekend getaway. Family and friends can come for the rehearsal on Friday night. Then they can stay for the wedding on Saturday and again to stay overnight the day of the wedding. This allows family to not worry about driving elsewhere and really let loose. These are just some of the qualities that attracted Malvina and Andrew to Forest House Lodge.

We spent the weeks leading up to the wedding wondering if it would actually happen due to the ongoing pandemic. However, we were delighted when Malvina and Andrew decided to go through with their wedding plans. And Forest House Lodge could not have been any more accommodating. They had a simple yet genius system with wrist bands set up to signify the people that felt comfortable with close contact and those who desired their distance.

The ceremony site is just breathtaking and makes for those iconic wedding pictures with the couple overlooking the Sierra mountains. There is no other way to describe it. A forest house lodge wedding is something your friends and family won’t forget. It really brings the wow factor. With all the emotion that a wedding day brings, it couldn’t be more perfect.

As always, we like to bring the story telling into our wedding videos. So, we wanted to feature the story of these two love birds, and at the same time showcase the awesome views and charm that is a Forest House Lodge wedding. We don’t want to give the whole story away. But can you believe that these two first connected when Malvina asked Andrew to lift weights with her!?

This couple really loves athletics and getting out into the outdoors. We even did their engagement shoot earlier in the year in Lake Tahoe, and hiked down into Emerald Bay to get some truly magical shots. Forest House Lodge really fits those who love the outdoors. Couples who want to get married a truly epic setting and then enjoy a reception with their closest friends and family well into the night. We can’t wait until our next wedding at Forest House Lodge!
