Having experienced loss and displacement during the Rwandan genocide, Philippe understands just how meaningful photographs can become. That belief in preserving people, relationships, and memories inspired him to co-found Philippe Studio Pro with his wife, Christine, in 2014.
On a wedding day, Philippe blends a photojournalistic approach to candid moments with creative, editorial portraiture. His images are warm, vibrant, and true to life, capturing both the beauty of the celebration and the emotions behind it. His favorite part of photographing weddings is witnessing two families—and often two cultures—come together as one.
