The UC Davis Arboretum was the perfect setting for Aman and Geno’s engagement photo session. They were so playful and in love, which made capturing genuine moments a breeze.
First off, this is not your typical engagement session blog post by a bay area engagement photographer. Yes, we will include photos of what we captured below. And the session itself was amazing. But this blog is more about what happened after the shoot. Yes, I was held at gunpoint by thieves wanting my camera. Here is the story….
Wow, as an engagement photographer, we love when couples find awesome and unique locations for their engagement sessions! This was certainly the case for Mary and Oleg who had their engagement shoot last week at Filoli Historic House and Garden in Woodside, California. If you haven’t been there during the holiday season, you need to […]
The best engagement photographer knows how to incorporate light in their images to make them stand out above the rest. We tried to do this with Samantha and Tim’s pictures at Sly Park Recreational Area in October. When they were looking for a location that had a nature feel, with the option of water nearby, […]
Alexandra & Jason wanted a woodsy vibe for their engagement photos. Redwood Regional Park in Oakland provides the perfect backdrop! Their adorable cat, Pandora also joined us for the shoot. We were nervous about Pandora running off into the woods. But Pandora behaved herself and didn’t stray from us (thankfully!). We loved getting those treasured […]
Melissa and Torrence booked us for their Sacramento engagement shoot back in 2019 and we were planning for it to take place in early April. However, due to the COVID-19 shut down we kept putting it off, until it finally happened in June! Because we shoot so much in downtown Sacramento and Old Town, we […]
Kaylee and Cody’s engagement shoot took place at Marshall’s Beach in San Francisco. They knew they wanted their shoot to take place at a beach but they just weren’t sure which beach to pick. We ultimately decided on Marshall’s beach because of the view of the Golden Gate Bridge. And it didn’t disappoint with the rocks, and […]
Malvina and Andrew’s engagement shoot was such a fun time in South Lake Tahoe. Since it was our first time shooting up in the area, we visited the location a few weeks earlier ahead of our shoot so that we could scope out all the nice areas for photos. We decided to head to the […]
Mira and Kevin’s California coast beach engagement photoshoot was truly a magical experience, if you can’t already tell from the photos themselves. We left Sacramento at about 1:00 PM for Montara State Beach. Kevin and Mira picked me and my assistant up in their car and we drove together. I loved that because it created a […]
