Morris Chapel Wedding & Chinese Celebration

Wedding

March 6, 2020

Vith and Scott’s wedding took place in August 2019, and boy was their wedding a blast.  Don’t get me wrong, it was a lot of hard work too.  Their wedding began at Morris Chapel on the Campus of the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.  They had a lot going on.  Luckily, I had my A team that day.  I was on camera assisted by Thai, and had Mike and Dave on video.  These guys are always on point and getting all the best shots!

First we filmed getting ready, and had them read letters to each other.  Then they did a first look, which was so fun to film!  After that they had a religious church ceremony where they exchanged vows, and rings and was topped off by a bubble-filled exit.  After that, Vith changed her clothes and we did a traditional tea ceremony.  I used that time to get some fun shots of Scott and then we also captured some portraits in both her red-dress Tea Ceremony outfit and her traditional white dress in front of the Chapel.

Finally, afterward we headed to Elk Grove to Well Season restaurant for their reception.  They surprised their guests with some Tiger Dancing Performers and drummers that really made their wedding memorable.  I have never seen a couple enjoy the dance floor more, and man does Vith have moves!  She really impressed me by knowing the words of some intricate rap songs, which I had fun including in their long video.  At the end, they even invited me and my team to jump on the dance floor with them to show off some of our moves which we enjoyed.

This one goes down into the memory books as one of my favorites of 2019!
