Alexandra & Jason wanted a woodsy vibe to their engagement photos, and Redwood Regional Park in Oakland provided the perfect backdrop! They also wanted to take photos with their adorable cat, Pandora. We were a little nervous about Pandora running off into the woods never to be seen again, but alas this was an extremely well behaved cat believe it or not!
Melissa and Torrence booked us for their engagement shoot back in 2019 and we were planning for it to take place in early April. However, due to the COVID-19 shut down we kept putting it off, until it finally happened in June!
This was such an exciting opportunity. I was lucky enough to be invited by Strelitzia Flower Company to participate in a Styled Shoot at Antiquité Maison Privée in midtown Sacramento.
Kaylee and Cody’s engagement shoot took place at Marshall’s Beach in San Francisco. They knew they wanted their shoot to take place at a beach but they just weren’t sure which beach to pick.
Malvina and Andrew decided to have their engagement shoot in Emerald Bay and we are so glad they did. Normally the beach area of Emerald Bay is pretty busy, but we did the shoot on a weekday in the middle of May and due to COVID-19 closures we basically had it all to ourselves.
Mira and Kevin’s Northan California coast engagement photoshoot at Montara State Beach was truly a magical experience, if you can’t already tell from the photos themselves.
Sam reached out to me about editing together their video and I was happy to be able to help them preserve the memory of their beautiful day. Even though I didn’t film it and I wasn’t there, after watching their footage and hearing their heartfelt vows, I really felt connected to their story and really tried to make that shine through in their video.
Their wedding took place on Feb. 1, 2020. Anytime you plan an outdoor wedding in February its a risk because you never know if it is going to rain. However, they lucked out and it turned out to be a beautiful day.
Vith and Scott’s wedding took place in August 2019, and boy was their wedding a blast. Don’t get me wrong, it was a lot of hard work too. Their wedding began at Morris Chapel on the Campus of the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.
I won’t say too much about their story, because it’s told in their video above, but I’ll just give you a preview that these two met when they were toddlers in Sierra Leone where the groom’s grandmother used to babysit both kids. Truly an inspiring and fated love story!
